The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, congratulated the leader of the Tisza party, Péter Magyar, this morning on the victory in the parliamentary elections in Hungary and stated that he believes in the continuation of good cooperation between Serbia and Hungary.
“I congratulate Péter Magyar on his electoral victory. I believe in the continuation of good cooperation between Hungary and Serbia and I am grateful to Viktor Orbán for making such relations possible,” Vučić wrote on Monday morning on the X platform.

Based on 97.35 percent of the processed votes in the parliamentary elections in Hungary, according to preliminary results of the National Election Commission (VTR), the opposition Tisza party won 138 out of 199 mandates in parliament, while Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s Fidesz party won 55 seats.
