The United Nations announced today that 1.1 million residents of Lebanon have been forced to leave their homes since the conflicts between Israel and the Hezbollah organization began last month.
This concerns nearly one-fifth of the population of Lebanon. The number of displaced people is expected to rise, as Israel carried out more than 100 airstrikes on Lebanon today, stated the UN humanitarian aid coordinator Imran Riza.
