UKP AGAIN AT THE FACULTY OF PHILOSOPHY: Police seized documentation, students claim they have nothing to hide!

Members of the Criminal Police Directorate (UKP) entered the building of the Faculty of Philosophy again today, students of this faculty claim.

However, according to Danas’ findings, the UKP has not yet arrived at the Faculty, but they announced they would come.

According to our information, they are supposed to take a certified copy of a document that they previously received as a scan.

RTS reported that the UKP, by agreement, took over the Safety Rulebook.

The students spoke out previously.

“The Criminal Police Directorate has entered the building of the Faculty of Philosophy again. We are fully cooperating with the competent authorities in order to shed light on the tragic case, but we do not agree to political confrontations and targeting. We have nothing to hide,” the students of Philosophy said.

As a reminder, members of the UKP entered the Rectorate of the University of Belgrade on Tuesday morning to conduct a search of the entire building, in order to continue the investigation regarding the tragic death of a female student at the Faculty of Philosophy.

The search warrant was issued by the High Court in Belgrade, at the initiative of the High Public Prosecutor’s Office, Special Department for Suppressing Corruption.

The search lasted until the evening hours, and this move by the police caused great dissatisfaction among citizens, who gathered spontaneously in front of the Rectorate.

Soon there was a conflict with the police, who appeared to prevent citizens from approaching the Rectorate building.

After the search, the police temporarily seized receivers and computers from the Rectorate, and according to Police Director Dragan Vasiljevic, they also found and seized several gas masks, medical supplies, banners, color sprays, as well as a certain amount of pyrotechnic devices.

The first time members of the UKP entered the Faculty of Philosophy was on Friday, March 27, the day after the tragic death of the female student.
