A female student claims that a group of older men cursed and kicked her, but that, in the end, she managed to escape them. All of this is happening during a protest by Novi Sad residents due to the commemoration of the Matica Srpska jubilee at which Miloš Vučević is also speaking.
As reported by the N1 reporter, an incident occurred on the plateau near the Serbian National Theater.
As can be seen in the videos, at the SNP, where the ceremony is being held, men are gathered whom both the gathered citizens and journalists claim are SNS supporters.
According to the reporter, a group of masked men assaulted the students, cursed them, and kicked them.
One female student spoke to N1 about her experience.
“I saw that they jumped on my colleague, I jumped in to defend him. Members gathered at the SNP jumped on me, men aged 50, 60 cursed at me, after that they pushed and kicked me and I managed to get out. I am fine, I am in a bit of shock, but I will be okay. This that is happening is beyond all reason,” she said.

Students of the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad stated that they have information that during the incident, when SNS supporters attacked citizens and students, at least three people were injured.
