After Wimbledon, Novak Đoković decided to take a good, really, really good rest and travel with his family around the Balkans.
This is nothing unusual for the Serbian ace, but it is unusual that he has been out of his training regimen for so long. However, it seems that he is finally getting back to it.
He took a photo with the gusle player Mido Todorović, who highlighted the instrument that made him famous, but everyone was looking at something completely different.
For the first time since the Wimbledon semifinals and the duel against Jannik Sinner, we saw Đoković with a racket in a video or photo.
And that’s what everyone was eagerly waiting to see because it means that preparations for the USA have already started. Đoković missed the Masters in Toronto and Cincinnati (which is quite surprising), and he will soon be flying to New York.
There, on August 19 and 20, he will play with Olga Danilović in the historic first edition of the mixed doubles, and then the singles tournament will start on August 24.
