In a residential neighborhood in Baltimore last night, a mass shooting occurred in which six people were wounded, including a five-year-old girl, local police announced.
The incident took place around 9 p.m. local time, during a community dinner outdoors, Baltimore Police Commissioner Richard Worley said at an emergency press conference, according to “ABC News”.
The girl was hit in the arm and is not in a life-threatening condition, while the most seriously wounded is a 38-year-old man who is in critical condition. Also injured were a 23-year-old woman and three men aged 32, 33, and 52.
“For now, we have very little information. We only know that a large number of shots were fired and that there are multiple victims,” Worley said, adding that the attacker, according to initial assessments, suddenly opened fire on the people gathered in front of a house.
