After the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina unanimously made a decision to revoke the mandate of Milorad Dodik, the president of Republika Srpska, due to a final verdict of one year in prison and a ban on holding public office, his reaction arrived.

Dodik spoke on the social network X, briefly stating:

“Another piece of sh*t from Sarajevo. The last one.”

“Surrender and giving up do not exist. Surrender is not an option,” Dodik wrote on the social network X.

After that, he published another post.

“As I swore: ‘I swear that I will perform my duties conscientiously and responsibly, keep state secrets, defend and represent the interests of the people and citizens of Republika Srpska, and honorably adhere to the Constitution and laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republika Srpska.’ There is no CIK here,” Dodik stated.

Let’s remember, the CIK’s decision will not be final until the appeal process before the Appellate Division of the Court of BiH is completed. Dodik’s legal team has already announced an appeal and the initiation of proceedings before the Constitutional Court of BiH, with a request for a temporary measure that would postpone the execution of the verdict.

SNSD, the party of which Dodik is the leader, called on the opposition in Republika Srpska to form a “government of national unity,” while the opposition parties have so far refused that call, stating that there will be no cooperation until the insults and labeling stop.
