Dušan Vrućkić was voted in as Videnović’s deputy, and Stefan Zankov as the president of the Assembly.

The election was preceded by the verification of the mandates of the councilors. The “SNS – Aleksandar Vučić” list has the majority with 27 councilors, while the two opposition lists, “United for the Salvation of Zaječar” and “Change We Believe In,” have 23 councilors.

The City Assembly of Zaječar has 50 councilors.
