The Israeli Air Force today carried out air strikes on the mountains above the city of Nabatieh in southern Lebanon, which the Israeli army said were aimed at underground facilities of the pro-Iranian militant group Hezbollah.
The air strikes were carried out in two waves and bunker-buster bombs were used, reported the Lebanese state National News Agency.

The Israeli army stated in a press release that their fighter jets hit a location used by Hezbollah to manage its fire and defense system in the area and that it was part of a significant underground project that was out of use.
The Israeli military said it had previously identified Hezbollah’s attempts to rebuild the facility and had attacked infrastructure in the area. There was no reaction from Hezbollah.
