The Archdiocese of Belgrade-Karlovci of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) has launched a podcast, with its first episode titled “Color Revolution or Media Attacks on the Church,” now available on YouTube.
The podcasts will feature lay experts in various fields of science and social life, alongside priests and theologians, the SPC Information Service announced.
In the first episode, guests of Rev. Stevan Jovanović include protopresbyter-stavrophor Velibor Džomić, a professor at the Faculty of Law in Kragujevac, and Vladimir Vuletić, a professor at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade.
The podcast was launched, it states, to advance the Church’s mission through “various forms of media creativity to preserve a way of life based on Christ’s teaching.”
This is necessitated, as stated, by “the dynamics of events within the Serbian people across their entire living space, as well as in society in general, alongside the revision of not only historical facts but also democratic institutions and representative democracy by relics from totalitarian systems of the last century, along with technical and technological changes, the imposition of cancel culture, gender, and similar ideologies and political practices.”
