Students blockading faculties at the University of Novi Sad continue to block the Radio Television Vojvodina building.
The entrance to the building is blocked, and there are tents around, reports 021.rs.
Neither the radio nor the TV of the provincial public service have a regular morning program; the radio is only playing music, and the TV is showing a movie.
According to a student, “RTV director Goran Karadžić refused the students’ request last night for RTV to report on what is happening in front of the blocked building of that media house, which is why students are continuing to block the provincial service building.”
“It doesn’t look like anything will change until the students’ voice is heard in full form, because citizens have a right to that,” said the student.

“We told the director that we do not plan to enter the building violently because students are not vandals, but that we want our voice to be heard. In the program, we would say what happened in Belgrade, how our colleagues who blocked the entrances to RTS were brutally attacked. We would ask: why, who is responsible for such acts, who orders it, and why did the police attack students with such brutality,” said student Boris.
The police are still in and around the RTV building, after strong police forces arrived last night.
Last night, students walked across the Liberty Bridge to Mišeluk and blocked the building of the provincial public media service.
They did this, they said, in solidarity with the students and citizens who blocked the Radio-Television of Serbia building in Belgrade.
