President of the United States Donald Trump stated today that the US had successfully carried out a large-scale attack on Venezuela and its leader, President Nicolás Maduro.

“Maduro, together with his wife, was captured and removed from the country. This operation was carried out in cooperation with US law enforcement forces,” Trump said in a post on the social network Truth Social.
