Carrier Milomir Jacimovic announced on social media that his bus was set on fire. As he told Danas, he found out about it this morning around 03:30, when he was called by a truck driver from Kikinda, who, while passing by his house, saw that the bus was burning.
“When I went outside, I had something to see, the bus was all in flames. I called the firefighters who came to extinguish the fire, but it was too late, because it had already completely burned down,” says Jacimovic, Danas reports.
He adds that the police also came out and that he is currently waiting for a team from Novi Sad to conduct an investigation. He claims that the fire was arson.
“I know exactly who set the bus on fire, but I will not state names publicly. I told the police that, but this is yet another misdeed of the SNS mafia,” he states.
Jacimovic says that the bus that was set on fire was the one he used several months ago to block the municipality of Zabalj, and that he had been driving students in it for a long time.
“They haven’t scared me. I put my life in the hands of those children and there is nothing that will stop me from helping them. They can only kill me, and they can only kill me once. There is no stopping, we go further to victory,” says Jacimovic.
In the early morning hours, Jacimovic posted videos of the bus in flames on his Facebook.
