A formal promotion of the book “Current Events Between the Front and the Screen” by author Silvana Stankovic was held on the ship of journalist Vesna de Vinca, gathering more than a hundred guests from various spheres of social life.
Among those present were prominent representatives of the Serbian intellectual elite, including Prof. Dr. Bojan Dimitrijevic, journalist Sinisa Ljepojevic, as well as numerous military officials who proved themselves in the defense of Serbia – Colonel Milan Jolovic Legenda, General Vinko Pandurevic, and Captain Dragan. The event was also attended by the former Prime Minister of Serbia, Nikola Sainovic, the Ambassador of Palestine, as well as a large number of colleagues from the media, law, and medicine.
A special note to the event was also given by guests from the world of entertainment, including Jasna Milenkovic Jami and Era Ojdanic, which further confirmed the diversity and significance of the gathering.
This unusual gathering of people from different professions was united by friendship and respect for the author Silvana Stankovic.
– It was a deliberate choice to have the promotion on a ship, in accordance with the changes in the world where everything is changing, moving, and accelerating – Stankovic pointed out while addressing the attendees.
Dusan Milovanovic, a longtime editor of the “Novosti” Company, as well as journalist Sinisa Ljepojevic, spoke about the book, reflecting on the importance and relevance of the topics handled by the author.
The book “Current Events Between the Front and the Screen” was created after more than four years of daily work and material collection, with a special focus on the military operation in Ukraine, but also broader geopolitical changes in the world.
This is the fifteenth book by Silvana Stankovic, with which she confirms her continuity and dedication to the analysis of modern socio-political trends.
