As it has been for centuries, Gazimestan was a place today where pride, faith, and tradition came together. People arriving from Serbia, Montenegro, Republika Srpska, and the diaspora gathered under the blue sky to pay tribute to the Kosovo heroes.
As the historical site of the Battle of Kosovo from 1389, Gazimestan is not just a geographical point for our people; it is the supreme symbol of pan-Serbian suffering, indestructible spirit, and the eternal covenant of freedom.
With song, prayer, and pride in their hearts, a clear message of unity and loyalty to their own roots was sent from here today. Centuries pass, but the tradition lives on.
They also sent a clear message: “Let it be heard, we have not forgotten, nor will we ever!”
