The visit of the President of Uzbekistan was scheduled at the same time as the funeral of General Ratko Mladić, while numerous citizens have been waiting in front of the Church of St. Luke since the early morning hours to pay their final respects; our president has more important things to do. Once again, he has managed to stand on the opposite side from the will of the people, but by now this is becoming a habit. Is the official visit the real reason why Aleksandar Vučić did not attend the funeral?

“Did I do everything that was necessary and possible to ensure that it proceeded in a dignified manner, in a serious and responsible manner, so that the state conducted itself properly? That is exactly what I did. That is all I can tell you,” Vučić said two days ago when he first mentioned the reason for his absence from the funeral.
