American President Donald Trump announced today that tariffs on imports from Serbia amount to 37 percent, which is the highest percentage compared to all countries in the region.

Bosnia and Herzegovina will have a tax of 35 percent, and North Macedonia 33 percent. Kosovo, which the US recognizes as an independent state, and Trump presented it as such, will have tariffs the same as Montenegro – 10 percent.

At an event in the Rose Garden, Trump displayed a board showing the new tariffs for most countries – from 10 percent to 49 percent.

Trump is imposing tariffs of 20 percent on the European Union, while he has set 10 percent for Great Britain and 31 percent for Switzerland.

He has foreseen tariffs of 34 percent for China, 32 percent for Taiwan, 25 percent for South Korea, and 24 percent for Japan. He has imposed the highest tariffs on Cambodia – 49 percent, while he has foreseen 46 percent for Vietnam.
