Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump held a campaign rally in California, in the city of Coachella, where he linked his Democratic rival Kamala Harris to the problems facing the state, where she served as Attorney General, and warned that the current U.S. government could start World War III in a few months.

“I’m basically worried about the next three months, because in three and a half to four months, we could be in a world war because of the people we have,” Trump warned while speaking at the campaign event in California, which was streamed on the RSBN YouTube channel.
Trump used his visit to California to highlight issues the state is facing, such as homelessness and water shortages, according to AP. In his speech in Coachella, east of Los Angeles, known for its namesake music festival, Trump stated that he would not allow Kamala Harris to do to America what she has done to California, which he described as a “lost paradise.”
Harris previously served as California’s Attorney General, AP noted. The former president, who lost in California during the 2020 elections, spoke for 80 minutes, presenting a list of grievances from Republicans regarding the state dominated by Democrats.
Trump specifically pointed to the large number of migrants illegally in the U.S., as well as the homeless population and California’s water issues. He warned about the dangers posed by migrants. “Your children are in danger. You can’t go to school with those people; they are from another planet,” Trump said.
The Republican candidate held the rally in Coachella between visits to Nevada and Arizona.
