The House of Representatives of the United States of America has voted to continue military aid to Ukraine, Congressman Don Bacon announced.
The proposed bill HR4016 was supported by 353 representatives, with 76 against, securing strong bipartisan support for continued American assistance to Kyiv, Bacon stated on X, as reported by Unian. The bill now proceeds to the Senate for consideration, where it can be amended, passed in its current form, or rejected.
If confirmed, the bill will go to US President Donald Trump for his signature.
Trump also announced a new round of military aid to Ukraine, including missiles for “Patriot” systems, which, as he stated, are “already on their way.”
Trump said he has not yet spoken with Russian President Vladimir Putin, but he expects Moscow to agree to a ceasefire before a new package of American sanctions takes effect.
