At the World Junior Taekwondo Championships, which is being held in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) in the period from April 12 to 17, 2026, the representatives of Serbia continued with excellent results.
On the fifth competition day, Serbia won two bronze medals, so our national team continued the tradition of medals at another major competition.
In the women’s competition, in the category up to 49 kilograms, Tina Ninić won a bronze medal, while in the men’s competition, Sergej Ivanović won a bronze medal in the category up to 63 kilograms.
These successes represent a significant incentive for further work and additional confirmation of the quality of young Serbian competitors on the world stage.
Let us remind you that taekwondo is one of our most decorated sports at the Olympic Games, which has brought us a huge number of medals in the last two decades.
