Several thousand fans gathered tonight at Grbavica Stadium in Sarajevo to enjoy the sounds of the world-famous band The Prodigy.

However, authorities in Sarajevo decided to spoil the experience for them by banning the serving of alcohol.

Yes, you heard that right, someone decided to ban the sale of beer and alcoholic beverages at The Prodigy’s concert.

According to unofficial information, the decision was made by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.

This is not the first time such a decision has been made when major concerts are concerned, and a similar decision was made at the recent concert of Željko Joksimović.

If you are a tourist or a fan of a particular singer/band and want to relax with a couple of glasses of wine or a beer, you will not be able to do so in Sarajevo.

A similar thing happened at The Prodigy’s concert back in 1995.

“My friends from Germany came just for the concert. They are shocked by the information that they cannot buy beer at The Prodigy. This is the beginning of Sharia,” one CH reader believes.
