“Thank you for recognizing that the holder of that integrity among public prosecutors is Bojana Savović and all those who are exposed to retaliation only because they decided to persevere in the belief in the rule of law, the rule of law, and the existence of morality. This number of people gathered is the best proof for us that integrity is here before you, and not with those who report and accuse Bojana of damaging their reputation,” Tomanović says.
He pointed out that this is “retaliation and revenge from the generators of anti-law.”
“Against Bojana Savović, who does not give up on the application of the law, the Constitution, believing that it is the prosecutor’s obligation to tell her colleagues that they took an oath to the Constitution and the law, and not to the political centers of power who are the choice of destruction, not only of the state of society but also the carriers of that anti-law. The whole procedure showed an absurdity, that you are conducting a procedure against Bojana Savović because, in a closed circle, in her office, in a conversation with her colleague, she drew his attention to the fact that he must behave in accordance with the highest standards of professional and moral obligation. The result of that is a procedure in which the punishment of Bojana Savović is sought,” he says.
Savović emphasized that she will “continue to point out to him and other colleagues who violate the law that they must not do it.”
“This is a continuation, this is some 17th, 18th report, this will not stop until the circumstances change, this is one of the ways to break the spine of the judiciary that is rising up. It is inevitable that our judiciary is waking up, this has nothing to do with me, they know that they cannot intimidate me, this is an attempt to intimidate those colleagues, but, believe me, they will not succeed,” she said.
