Serbia’s top tennis player, Novak Djokovic, has advanced to the round of 16 at the Geneva Open. He defeated Hungarian tennis player Márton Fucsovics 6-2, 6-3.
Novak got off to an excellent start in his new pursuit of a 100th career title, breaking serve in just the fourth game.
The Hungarian couldn’t find a solution for the in-form Djokovic, for whom this tournament serves as a “warm-up” for the second Grand Slam of the season – Roland Garros.

Djokovic will play against Italy’s Matteo Arnaldi in the round of 16. The two are “old acquaintances,” and their last duel was a few weeks ago at the Madrid Masters, where the Italian tennis player won at the start of the tournament.
