A young man who was injured in a traffic accident on the Ruma – Sabac highway today around 1:00 p.m. has passed away in the hospital in Sremska Mitrovica, while three other people died at the scene of the accident.
As Tanjug learns, the 25-year-old young man was brought to the Health Center in Sremska Mitrovica after the accident, where, despite the efforts of doctors, he succumbed to his injuries, Tanjug learns.
Another injured person was transported to the hospital in Sabac.
As a reminder, in the horrific accident on the highway near Ruma, several people were killed, and there are also injured persons.
The accident was caused by the driver of a Ford who was driving in the opposite direction at an enormous speed. Firefighters, police, and emergency services are on the scene.
The investigation is ongoing. Traffic has been suspended.
