Serbian representatives from the Mathematical Grammar School in Belgrade and the First Kragujevac Grammar School won three medals at the 15th European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad in Bordeaux. A gold medal was won by another student of the Belgrade Mathematical Grammar School, but for the team of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Vanja Jelovac won a gold medal, Nina Susic a silver, and Irina Stanisic a bronze, all students of the Mathematical Grammar School in Belgrade and the First Kragujevac Grammar School.
Another student of the Mathematical Grammar School in Belgrade, Anja Tesevic, who competed as part of the team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, also won a gold medal.

The four-member Serbian team was selected based on a series of competitions organized by the Mathematical Society of Serbia and the Ministry of Education.
The Serbian team was led by Prof. Dr. Milos Stojakovic (Faculty of Sciences, University of Novi Sad) and Danica Zecevic (Faculty of Mathematics, University of Belgrade).
In the team competition, the Serbian team won 6th place out of 41 European teams.
