FIND OUT MORE IN SERBIAN:

Svrljiški belmuž is a traditional dish from the mountainous regions of southeastern Serbia, which is on the list of intangible cultural heritage of Serbia.

Belmuž is traditionally made from young sheep’s and cow’s cheese and corn flour.

Given that it is characteristic of this one part of Serbia, many have still not tried this specialty.

In Serbia, the Belmužijada, an economic-tourist and cultural event dedicated to belmuž, is held every year in Svrljig.
