Today at 6:00 PM, students and citizens will gather in 34 cities across Serbia for protests dubbed “Vostani Serbije” (Rise Up, Serbia), organized simultaneously nationwide. Below is a detailed plan of the student protests and a list of cities where they will take place.

  • 6:00 PM – 6:15 PM – Gathering at the Intersection of Futoška Street and Bulevar oslobođenja
  • 6:15 PM – 7:00 PM – Forum on the Constitution and Elections
  • 7:00 PM – 7:15 PM – Speeches by Assemblies
  • 7:15 PM – 7:30 PM – Professor Slavica Filipović, from the high school in Srbobran, on behalf of herself and two colleagues – Vesna Vrekić and Mirrana Mihalov
  • 7:30 PM – 8:00 PM – Choir
  • 8:00 PM – 8:10 PM – Unified Speech for all cities
  • 8:15 PM – 8:45 PM – Walk to the Railway Station
  • 8:50 PM – 9:00 PM – Novi Sad Speech
  • 9:00 PM – 9:16 PM – 16 Minutes of Silence

Kragujevac


  • 6:00 PM – 9:16 PM – Protest in Bulevar Kraljice Marije

Belgrade


  • 6:00 PM – 9:16 PM – Blockade of Brankov Most and Gazela

In addition to these four cities, protests will be held on the same day in 30 other cities in Serbia, with the demand raised by the students in blockade being the calling of elections.

“Decentralization is loading. See you,” the students announced in an earlier Instagram post.
