Partizan and ASVEL faced off in Villeurbanne, France, in the 21st round of the EuroLeague, with the visiting team emerging victorious with a score of 93:62.
The Belgrade-based black-and-whites started the match perfectly on the offensive end, with Sterling Brown standing out as an early leader, quickly reaching double-digit points. However, this didn’t last long.
Where Sterling left off, Lundberg continued, allowing Partizan to take an 11-point lead after the first quarter. Lundberg, who recently returned to the team after a break, continued his exceptional performance in the following quarters. Isaac Bonga showcased several outstanding sequences, while Tajrique was very active on the boards and effective in the paint on offense.

The black-and-whites went into halftime with the same lead as after the first quarter, a great sign for the rest of the match.
A slight change in Partizan’s defense led to a significant change in the game and the score, as the black-and-whites managed to go on an incredible run at the start of the second half.

Brandon Davis hit three consecutive three-pointers, but he wasn’t alone in his heroics! All the players joined in, both on defense and offense.
Full-court defensive pressure gave Partizan confidence and simultaneously crushed their opponents’ morale, who were unable to score for an entire third quarter.
At the end of the third quarter, Partizan led by 31 points, and it could be said that the conditions for victory were already met at that point.
The final quarter was merely about maintaining the result, and so Partizan finished the game with a +31 point difference.
Partizan will play their next EuroLeague match against Olimpia Milan, while ASVEL will face the last-placed Alba Berlin.
