Serbian tennis player Olga Danilović has won the tournament in the Spanish town of Cornellà de Llobregat near Barcelona after defeating Arantxa Rus 2-0 (6-2, 6-0) in the final.
Danilović, ranked 103rd in the world, easily defeated the opponent who was ranked 22 places higher.
The Serbian, seeded fourth in the tournament, completely dominated the second seed.
By winning her second career title, her first since Moscow in 2018, the 23-year-old Serbian has secured the 86th spot on tomorrow’s WTA ranking, which will be her career-best ranking.
