A group of students and citizens returning from a major rally in Slavija encountered an unpleasant situation at Branko’s Bridge when a bus driver refused to let them board and shut the doors in their faces.

When the group gathered in front of the bus and demanded an explanation, the driver reportedly told them: “They told me I’m not allowed to drive you!”

According to participants, the ban was imposed because they had attended the student rally, and they believe the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) was behind the order.

The question remains who issued such an order to the driver and on what grounds citizens were denied transportation simply because they had attended a protest.
