The president of the SNSD, Milorad Dodik, announced that he will travel to Chicago on April 25 to receive a prestigious recognition from the Christian Judson University, which is the third largest by number of students in the USA, and then to Washington where he will have important meetings.
Reacting to the negative reactions of Bosniak politicians regarding this event, Dodik said it was incredible that they cited the claim that “some Muslim community is protesting in America and Canada” because he is on good terms with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and because he follows the policy of US President Donald Trump.
He stated that from Chicago he will likely go to Washington, where he is expected to meet with a certain number of congressmen, and then he will return to Chicago to receive the recognition and participate in a ceremony to which more than 500 guests have been invited.
Dodik explained that this recognition is awarded to statesmen and that a significant number of presidents of America and other countries, as well as important figures in the struggle for freedom and democracy, have received it, and that it represents an honor for him.
He added that he is glad about the reaction from Sarajevo because he believes that without that anger, the impression would not be complete.
Dodik reminded that Elmedin Konaković is not BiH and assessed that those in Sarajevo are against everything done in Republika Srpska.
– But, we will see, that is also a question for the hosts. The people who are organizing this have not for a single moment questioned that it will happen and take place, so I am traveling on the 25th and will have several important meetings – Dodik said.
