In the night between Sunday and Monday, 10 games were played in the NBA. The Denver Nuggets were defeated in Los Angeles by the Clippers 127:123 despite Nikola Jokic’s new triple-double.

Fate would have it that Nikola Jokic would record his 138th career triple-double, tying him for third place on the all-time list with the legendary Magic Johnson, right in the city where the great Magic made his name. He did it in Los Angeles. Now, only Oscar Robertson with 181 and Russell Westbrook with 200 career triple-doubles are ahead of him.

However, it wasn’t a celebratory atmosphere, as team results have always been more important to Nikola than individual achievements, and Denver was defeated. The Clippers won 127:123.

In a game with many lead changes, both teams had double-digit advantages, but no more than 10, 11 points. The home team led throughout the fourth quarter, with a maximum difference of eight points – 111:103. Denver managed to close the gap to just half a basket with a 9-2 run, 113:112, but that was all from Mike Malone’s team.
