A horrific accident occurred last night in New Belgrade, when a fourteen-year-old boy was severely injured after falling from a height of over 10 meters, “Telegraf.rs” learns.
According to Telegraf, the teenager was playing with a group of friends on a hill in New Belgrade during the evening hours. According to initial and unofficial information, it is suspected that due to a moment of carelessness, he lost his balance and plunged into a chasm deeper than ten meters.
An ambulance crew, as well as the police, arrived at the scene immediately.
“The boy was urgently transported to the hospital by ambulance in a conscious state, but with visibly severe injuries. Diagnostics determined that he sustained severe spinal injuries, namely serious vertebral fractures,” states a source familiar with the case.
The competent police administration, as well as the prosecutor on duty, were immediately informed about this creepy incident.
An investigation was carried out at the accident scene, and a detailed police investigation will determine all the exact circumstances and motives that led to this almost fatal children’s game.
