BECAUSE OF THE SHOOTING IN A BAR ON AUTOKOMANDA: Former deputy police chief Nemanja Djuran arrested!

By order of the Special Department for the Suppression of Corruption of the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade, the former deputy head of the Criminal Police Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, N.DJ, was arrested in the continuation of the investigation regarding the commission of various criminal offenses in the catering facility “Steak and Wine Bar” after firearms were used in that bar in the presence of numerous guests on November 5, 2025. According to unofficial information, it is Nemanja Djuran.

The criminal complaint charges the suspect with the criminal offense of abuse of official position.

There are grounds for suspicion that N.DJ, using his official position, influenced other suspects to remove evidence and traces from the aforementioned catering facility that would indicate that the suspect Sasa Vukovic committed the criminal offenses of Causing general danger and Unauthorized production, possession, carrying, and trafficking of weapons and explosive substances, in which way he obtained a benefit for him.

The suspect was detained for up to 48 hours, within which time he will be brought for an interview before the Special Department for the Suppression of Corruption of the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade.

Regarding this criminal-legal event, an investigation was launched against Sasa V. due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that on November 5, 2025, in the aforementioned catering facility, he committed the crimes of Causing general danger and Unauthorized production, possession, carrying, and trafficking of weapons and explosive substances, while evidentiary actions are being carried out against six more individuals, five members of the Interventna Unit 92 of the Duty Service of the Police Administration for the City of Belgrade and the director of the catering facility.
