The arrested medical technician from the Institute in Sremska Kamenica, who is accused of attacking members of the “Cobras” at a protest in Novi Sad, was ordered to be detained for up to 30 days.
He, as an N1 reporter previously reported, became unwell during the interrogation before the High Court in Novi Sad.
He was taken to the Clinical Center of Vojvodina for an examination, and his lawyer said that she expects him to be returned to the court after the examination is completed and for the interrogation to continue.
In front of the courthouse, students and citizens gathered to show their support for the medical technician, otherwise the seventh suspect for the attack on the “Cobras”.
Five were ordered detention, and one is, due to his health condition, under house arrest.
They are charged with attempted murder.
