The message from the State of Serbia is: No concessions regarding Kosovo and Metohija, no imposition of sanctions on the Russian Federation. This is the stance of the National Security Council that we adopted at the beginning of the conflict – stated the Minister of Internal Affairs, Ivica Dačić.
“I think the president clearly said that there will be no further talks until the arrests of our people cease, and the expulsion of our people, and the ban on them working in other parts of Serbia. Where does that exist?!” Dačić asked, speaking this morning on Radio Television of Serbia, KoSSev reports.
On the other hand, Dačić says:
“The desire of the Priština regime is to clear the territory of Kosovo and Metohija of Serbs.”
At the same time, he emphasized that the international community is the biggest culprit in everything, referring to Western powers and interpreting that they are not friends of Serbia.
“It is the biggest culprit because it allowed the whole world to depend on Kurti’s good will whether he will act in accordance with the agreements reached or not. This tolerance – not of separatism, because that has long been clear – but of terrorism…” he said.
He vividly explained that international powers do not function according to the principle of “hey, call me on the phone,” but rather deliver demands:
“Those from Kosovo – someone has a phone that only has an earpiece but no microphone.”
This minister, whose initial as the then Prime Minister of Serbia appeared alongside Thaçi’s in the spring of 2014 on the First Framework Agreement, now claims that it was an international deception.
“It’s a deception because they didn’t tell us that when we signed the Brussels Agreement. We entered into all these agreements in good faith solely to achieve compromises that would be in the interest of everyone in Kosovo and Metohija. And in the end, Serbia did everything, and the Priština side began to boycott all of it from the very beginning, with the open support of some countries.”
