Businessman Nikola Petrović, the godfather of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, celebrated his birthday at the luxurious Palazzo Pisani Moretta in Venice, an event estimated to have cost around three million euros.
Nikola Petrović amassed enormous wealth during the rule of the Serbian Progressive Party and his godfather Aleksandar Vučić, so he apparently had no problem covering the costs of renting the palace, which amount to 2.5 million dollars, Air Serbia charter flights for his guests, a two-day rental of rooms at the exclusive St. Regis hotel, and the finest food and drinks (the most expensive champagne was served)…
-On the first day, guests began arriving at the palace by water taxis. Champagne was poured, guitars were playing, cocaine was being snorted… The main celebration took place on the second day. Guests were entertained by Marija Šerifović, who recently stated that she did not know where she was going, followed by Saša Matić, Aco Pejović and Petar Grašo. Among the guests were Health Minister Zlatibor Lončar, Mining and Energy Minister Dubravka Handanović Đedović, the son of the former president Danilo Vučić, Aleksandar Vidojević – Aca Rošavi, Marko Uljarević from IPSOS, Marko Mišković (son of Miroslav Mišković), owners of Serbian betting companies, directors of state-owned companies and many others, a well-informed source told Serbian Times.
He adds that the gifts were also in keeping with the occasion, ranging from expensive watches and cars, while some guests allegedly even gave the birthday celebrant villas.
-Mobile phones were not allowed, and an official photographer was present, who later gave each guest an album of photographs. Photos that appeared in the media in recent days leaked from one of those albums. When the birthday celebrant, Nikola Petrović, entered the grand hall, music from the film The Godfather rang out. Later in the evening, everyone changed into costumes from the era of the Republic of Venice, while Petrović dressed as the Doge of Venice, our source says.
