Serbian tennis player Olga Danilović has advanced to the third round of the Australian Open after defeating Liudmila Samsonova 2-0, with set scores of 6-1, 6-2.
The match between the two tennis players lasted an hour and six minutes. Samsonova is the 21st ranked player in the world, while Danilović is ranked 55th on the WTA list.
The Russian tennis player was not having her day. She made as many as 31 unforced errors and won only eight direct points.

Already in the first game of the first set, the Serbian tennis player managed to break her opponent’s serve, converting her fifth break point.
Danilović was reliable on her serve, and then in the fifth and seventh games, she made new breaks, which allowed her to win the first set in about half an hour.
The second set saw a bit more excitement.

Olga started in the same way, winning two consecutive games, but then the Russian also made a break and reached 2-2.
Samsonova’s period of good play ended quickly as she lost four consecutive service games, and Danilović advanced to the third round where she will face the sixth-ranked tennis player in the world, Jessica Pegula.
The American was better than Elise Mertens from Belgium with 2-0, with set scores of 6-4, 6-2.
