The Basic Court of temporary institutions in Pristina sentenced today Bojan Jevtić from Berivojce, Kosovska Kamenica municipality, to six years in prison for the criminal offense of espionage, after he reached a plea agreement with the prosecution.
For unauthorized possession and keeping of weapons, Jevtić was fined in the amount of 2,000 euros, stated his attorney Miloš Nikolić.
Jevtić was also banned from performing public functions for a period of five years from the expiration of the sentence.
According to the allegations of the indictment, which was raised on May 8, Jevtić is suspected that as a lieutenant of the so-called Kosovo police, in an unspecified period of time until July 17, 2025, as claimed, he collected and delivered confidential documents to the officials of the Intelligence Service of the Republic of Serbia.
Members of the so-called Kosovo police arrested Jevtić on July 17 last year at the Bela Zemlja administrative crossing.
