Without a single factual and legal reason, Slobodan Milenković has been permanently transferred from the Criminal Police Directorate to the Information Technology Sector in the MUP after almost 20 years of service in the criminal police, the “Tomanović” Law Office announced today.

“The persistence and perseverance of Milenković, together with Mitić and other uncorrupted police officers, to fully expose the financial, legal, security, and organizational logistics that enabled the ‘Jovanjica’ project, has so far produced a strong coordinated media-political campaign of professional and personal degradation of the inspector, which resulted in dismissals, reassignments, and endangering the lives of inspectors Milenković and Mitić, who are guarded by special anti-terrorist units,” states the announcement from the “Tomanović” Law Office, which represents inspector Milenković.

It is added that “the expulsion of Milenković from the criminal police is a new, legal-political twitch of centers of power that, in an atmosphere of political schizophrenia, lead a campaign against holders of expertise and independence in state systems, but also against facts and truth in an attempt to produce and maintain a falsified reality.”

To protect the rights of inspector Milenković, all legal remedies will be undertaken, regardless of the casualness of institutions such as the Administrative Court, which has not rendered a decision for almost 3 years regarding the dismissal of Milenković, or the Constitutional Court, which has not decided for over three and a half years on the right to life and the responsibility of the state for endangering the life of Milenković, the law office announces.
