DISTURBING FOOTAGE OUTRAGES SERBIA: Kristijan Golubović Tortured and Allegedly Killed a Dog, Animal Protection Organizations React! (VIDEO)

A disturbing video has been circulating on social media, which former reality TV contestant Kristina Spalević claims shows her former partner, Kristijan Golubović, abusing their dog. Following the release of the footage, an animal protection organization also issued a statement, calling on the relevant authorities to urgently investigate all the allegations.

For several days, public attention has been focused on the relationship between Kristijan Golubović and Kristina Spalević after the former reality TV contestant published a series of claims and materials on social media which, she says, point to domestic violence. In the meantime, according to her, she has also lost her job.

Over the weekend, Kristina Spalević published another disturbing video, which she claims shows Kristijan Golubović abusing their Chihuahua in a bathtub. According to her allegations, the dog later died from the injuries it sustained.

Animal Protection Organization Issues Statement

In response to the footage and allegations, an animal protection organization called on the competent institutions to immediately examine all the claims made publicly.

The organization stressed that the presumption of innocence must be respected and that no one can be declared guilty before legal proceedings are concluded, but emphasized that such serious allegations require an urgent, thorough, and impartial investigation.

“As an animal protection organization, we are following with great concern the public allegations made by Kristina Spalević in recent days. In addition to claims of violence against herself and the children, extremely serious accusations regarding the abuse and killing of animals have also been made public. According to her public statements, she claims to possess video recordings and veterinary documentation, and says that part of the material has already been submitted to the competent authorities. If these allegations are true, we are not only talking about domestic violence, but also criminal offenses against animal welfare. Violence against animals must never be ignored or justified, regardless of who is involved or what public status that person has. For this reason, we publicly call on the competent public prosecutor’s office, the police, and the veterinary inspection to investigate all allegations concerning the abuse and killing of animals and, if there are reasonable grounds for suspicion and evidence, to initiate appropriate legal proceedings in accordance with the law,” the organization stated, adding:

“At the same time, we call on all animal protection organizations not to remain silent when there are publicly presented allegations of animal abuse. It is our duty to respond whenever such claims arise, regardless of the name, identity, or popularity of the person against whom they are made.”
