In a traffic accident that occurred in the night between Thursday and Friday near the roundabout at Ušće in Belgrade, a young woman was seriously injured. According to unofficial findings by “Blic,” the driver Nikola Tošić attempted to avoid responsibility following the crash. The emergency services confirmed that one person with severe injuries was transported to the Emergency Center, but the Ministry of Internal Affairs did not announce how the accident occurred, nor under what circumstances it took place.
As “Blic” learns unofficially, Nikola Tošić was behind the wheel of a green “Audi.” Another young man and a young woman were also in the vehicle.
According to the same findings, immediately before the accident, the driver was performing a so-called drift, and the car was moving at a speed of around 200 kilometers per hour. After losing control of the vehicle, he hit a lamppost.
In the accident, the young woman who was in the car suffered the most severe injuries.
According to unofficial information obtained by “Blic,” she suffered fractures of the collarbones and pelvis, as well as a pneumothorax.
She was transported to the Emergency Center, is in the intensive care unit, and her condition is serious. The young man who was in the car sustained minor injuries, while the driver, according to available information, was not injured.
In the photos from the scene, it can be seen that the vehicle suffered extensive damage.
However, it is precisely the events that followed the accident that indicate N.T. attempted to avoid responsibility.
According to findings by “Blic,” N.T. removed the car from the scene of the accident with his father, who is a professional race car driver, and did not call the police.
Because of this, questions arise as to whether the on-site investigation was carried out and to what exact extent, which further raises questions about how all the circumstances under which the traffic accident occurred will be established.
According to our information, the vehicle was seized yesterday from N.T. The police allegedly launched an investigation and began acting on this case, but only after the family of the other young man who was in the “Audi,” and who was slightly injured, informed the competent authorities.
Due to all of the above, “Blic” addressed questions to the Ministry of Internal Affairs asking whether an on-site investigation was conducted at the scene of the accident, whether criminal or misdemeanor proceedings were initiated against the driver, whether the participants were tested for the presence of alcohol and psychoactive substances, whether the vehicle’s speed was established, as well as when the car was seized for expert evaluation.
