Serbia will be represented at the Winter Olympic Games (WOG) in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo by Anja Ilić, Aleksa Tomović, and Miloš Milosavljević, the Olympic Committee of Serbia (OCS) announced.
For the third time in history as the host of the WOG, after Cortina d’Ampezzo in 1956 and Turin in 2006, Italy will once again host the best athletes in winter sports.
The Games will be held from February 6 to 22, 2025.
According to the rules of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), and in accordance with the qualification standards of international sports federations and internal criteria for the performance of Serbian athletes at the WOG Milan-Cortina 2026 adopted by the OCS Executive Board at the beginning of the qualification period, Serbia will be represented by three athletes at the upcoming Games.
These are Ilić and Milosavljević in Nordic skiing and Tomović in alpine skiing.
The opening ceremony of the Games will take place on February 6 in Milan, while the closing ceremony will be held on February 22 in Verona.
