An unprecedented massacre took place on Bondi Beach in Sydney when a father and son opened fire during the celebration of the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah.
At least 15 people were killed and at least 27 more were wounded, and the attack was religiously motivated and declared a terrorist act, resonating across the world.
A photo of one of the attackers soon appeared on social networks, and shortly thereafter, a tweet surfaced featuring him and… Novak Đoković.
“One of these two men was banned from entering Australia,” stated a popular Twitter profile.
Amazing Tweet. So sad. So true. https://t.co/ZtqQgNIXrD

This alluded to the fact that Novak was banned from entering Australia in 2022 because he was not vaccinated against the coronavirus – even though he had previously received a medical exemption, while the attacker in the photo was freely in this country even though he is not Australian.
“Exceptional tweet. So sad. So true,” wrote Donald Trump Junior, the son of the current President of the United States of America.
“This is the best tweet of all time,” added comedian and actor Adam Carolla.
Even former NBA basketball player Andrew Bogut spoke out. “The Australian government – protecting you from danger,” he wrote ironically.
The initial tweet received 13 million views and over 200,000 likes just 20 hours after publishing.
