A sixteen-year-old teenager was admitted last night to the Emergency Center with injuries he claims were caused by a knife attack in the Belgrade municipality of Voždovac.
The young man (16) received medical attention overnight at the emergency facility. According to unofficial reports, he was allegedly attacked and stabbed on the street. Details of the alleged attack in Voždovac, including the exact location and circumstances of the incident, are not yet publicly known.
The investigation is ongoing, and the police are working intensively to clarify all aspects of the event.
Currently, there is no information on the severity of the teenager’s injuries, nor whether the attacker, or attackers, have been identified or arrested.
It is worth recalling that a similar stabbing incident involving a minor occurred on September 28 in Belgrade near a popular floating club. A fight broke out, and the young man L.T. (18) suffered serious, life-threatening injuries. The Stari Grad police quickly solved the case and arrested five participants, including a 15-year-old minor.
Last night in Belgrade, a taxi driver was also stabbed. According to media reports, the incident occurred near Belgrade Waterfront and involved two men.
The victim explained that he received a call to pick up two men in Mirijevo.
“I drove them from Mirijevo to Belgrade Waterfront. When we arrived, one of them pulled out 200 euros to pay. I told him I didn’t have that much cash to give change and asked why they didn’t tell me before, as we passed a hundred exchange offices along the way. Then I asked if I could charge it on a card, to which he replied, ‘What card? Who are you trying to act tough?’” recounted the injured taxi driver.
According to him, they then attacked him.
“Both of them hit me in the back. I got out of the car to defend myself. The one who wanted to pay pulled a knife and stabbed me in the arm. I tried to defend myself, we fell on the asphalt and struggled, and then when he saw he couldn’t easily overpower me, he got up and left. I then went to the emergency center. I have a deep cut on my arm and four stitches,” the taxi driver said.
