The First Basic Court in Belgrade, according to the indictment motion of the First Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade, issued a final judgment by which the defendant A.M. was found guilty of committing the extended criminal offense of falsifying an official document.
The Court sentenced him to a conditional prison sentence of seven months which will not be carried out if the defendant does not commit a new criminal offense within two years, as well as the security measure of prohibiting him from practicing the medical profession for a period of two years.
The defendant was found guilty because, as a responsible person – a doctor of psychiatry at the health institution Health Center “Milutin Ivković” – he entered untrue data into patients’ health records – unconfirmed diagnoses and non-psychiatric diagnoses.
