A 40-year-old man died shortly after midnight in a traffic accident on the Ibarska Highway, the Emergency Services told Tanjug.

The accident occurred near Rušanj. The man was killed when multiple vehicles ran him over as he was attempting to cross the road. Emergency services conducted 117 interventions overnight, 29 of which were in public places.

Most requests for assistance came from chronically ill patients, mainly due to high blood pressure, and oncology patients.
