Students from the University of Novi Sad, currently protesting, will cycle to Strasbourg via Budapest, Vienna, and Munich. They announced that they will depart from Novi Sad on April 3, 24 hours before Student Day, and will arrive in Strasbourg on April 17, aiming to draw international attention to the events in Serbia.
Addressing the public, they stated that the reason for this action is the lack of response from almost all relevant institutions.
The students emphasized that they wish to address the Council of Europe as well as the European Union.
Their route to Strasbourg will take them through Subotica, Budapest, Bratislava, Vienna, Linz, Salzburg, Munich, Augsburg, Ulm, and Stuttgart.
As they pointed out, these are major university cities as well as places with a significant number of Serbian expatriates.

“We expect a response from our expatriates in southern Germany and Vienna,” they stated in their public address.
They also announced that they will submit letters and reports to relevant institutions, including the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, the Commissioner for Human Rights, the Directorate for Democracy and Human Dignity, the Committee of Ministers, the European Parliament, the European Commission, and the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights.
They added that, given the complexity of the tour, the number of participants will be limited and subject to physical fitness checks and technical inspections of their bicycles.
