The Serbian national football team lost in Córdoba against Spain, the reigning European champions, in the fourth round of League A of the Nations League with a score of 3:0.

The match at the “Nuevo Arcángel” stadium was undoubtedly the biggest challenge so far in the Nations League for Dragan Stojković’s team, who drew 0:0 with La Furia in the first mutual duel last month in Belgrade.

The scorers were Laport in the 5th, Morata in the 65th minute, and Baena in the 77th minute. In the other match in this group, Switzerland and Denmark drew 2:2. Spain is first in the table with 10 points, Denmark has 7, Serbia is third with 4 points, and last-placed Switzerland has only 1 point.

Morata made up for it in the 65th minute when, after a great action and pass from Ruiz, he beat Rajković with a beautiful shot.

In the 74th minute, Serbia was left with one less player. After a foul on the edge of the penalty area, the Spaniards asked for a red card for the Serbian defender, claiming that Pavlović was the last man. After watching the replay, Daniel Stefanski sent Pavlović off.

After the interruption and free kick, Baena scored the third goal for Spain with a brilliant shot.

There was no change in the result until the end of the match, and Spain recorded a routine victory.
