The Serbian national team suffered its first defeat at the European Championship in Latvia. In the last 5th round of group A, Serbia lost to Turkey with the result 90:95 (18:19, 31:27, 24:28, 17:21)
Serbia took second place and will play against Finland in the round of 16 on Saturday.
Turkey, as the first-placed team, goes to Sweden in the round of 16.
Svetislav Pešić’s team had a lot of bad luck in this match as well. In the Turkish team, Alperen Şengün scored 28 points (13 rebounds, 8 assists), Shane Larkin 23, and Cedi Osman 16.
